ARTIST STATEMENT

 

The essence in my artistic creation goes hand in hand with the concepts of freedom and time, both have polished each of my stories. Writing, beyond as a method of expression, has been a portal that since my beginnings made me discover as a woman the power within me to create, relate, experiment, contrast and give meaning to my life. On the other hand, cinematography is a space that has allowed me to understand nature and human fragility. Being a contemporary artist, in addition to being a skill, is a tool for introspection. Just as I have navigated my own emotions and conflicts through my art, I intend for viewers to identify through it what corrupts them.
